The Annual Awards Luncheon was held on Thursday, December 8th at Truluck’s Dallas. There was lots of good food, fun, fellowship and recognition for many chapters, leaders and membership. We were able to celebrate the outstanding networkers, movers and shakers within our organization. These awards went to the members who went above and beyond to represent our five core principles.
The award winners for 2016 are listed below:
ORGANIZATION AWARDS 2016:
Chapter Leader of the Year: Matt Ramsey (Dallas)
Jo Wagner Award (Overall Networker of the Year):
Every year Team Networking awards the Jo Wagner Award to the networker of the year. While Jo Wagner was a member of Team Networking she was diagnosed with breast cancer, even though she faced a daunting situation, she continued to work and attend Team Networking meetings through her chemo and radiation treatments up until the last weeks of her life before she lost her battle to breast cancer. This is why the Networker of the Year Award is now called the Jo Wagner Award. This year the award was given to Rebecca Wright of Central Business District.
The North Dallas Chapter shared the most business referrals of any other chapter. And it special kudos to the strong leadership of Linda White as the North Dallas Chapter Leader that helped the North Dallas Chapter win this award.
The Dr. Lois Vanderhoof Award for Community Service was adopted by Team Networking to honor another member who also lost her battle with breast cancer. Dr. Lois, as she preferred, was a nutritionist and was very active in the Plano community. Team Networking has always given back and participated in philanthropy since its inception. The winner this year is the High 5 Chapter, led by Melody Gray.
